christopher hanley
I’m a dedicated design practitioner with ten years in the design industry and higher education, holding a master’s degree in MA Design: Product & Furniture. My curiosity and drive keep me constantly exploring new ways to approach design, enriching my knowledge in global contexts, participatory design, decolonizing design, social innovation, and sustainability.
Currently, I teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, leading courses on design studies and contextual understanding. My goal is to equip students with strong design skills and industry-ready expertise through engaging lectures, practical workshops, and well-designed course content. I also collaborate on innovative projects, contribute to research, and build relationships with professional organizations to enhance the quality of our programs. Additionally, I develop and facilitate design-focused workshops and events to inspire the next generation of designers.
