end of year expo.

2024
In 2024, I helped organised the end-of-year Expo for our first- and second-year students—a chance to publicly showcase their work, share ideas, and take pride in what they’ve achieved. The aim was simple: to create a space where students could not only celebrate their own progress, but also see the breadth of creativity and effort happening across both year groups. It wasn’t just about the final outcomes on display—it was about building a culture of visibility, recognition, and inspiration. By bringing everyone together in one space, students could learn from each other, make new connections, and understand where their work sits in a wider context.
To mark the occasion, we introduced a series of awards, including Best in Year, Innovation of the Year, and Best Overall Presentation. These small but meaningful recognitions gave students a real confidence boost and a moment to celebrate their journey—something that can often get lost in the pace of studio life. The energy in the room was brilliant, and the feedback from students made it clear: having a platform to showcase their work matters. It reinforces that what they’re doing has value, that their ideas have impact—and that’s something worth building on.
